Do I Look Awake?

Here's a fantastic poem I wrote just a minute ago. I really enjoy the dialogue-driven ones... They make me chuckle.

DO I LOOK AWAKE?

"You look tired..."

"Really? That's funny.
I slept like a log last night."

"Does a log normally look tired?"

"Go to hell. I was feeling pretty good today
until you decided to tell me how I look."

"Maybe a sleeping pill..."

"I slept well. I slept great.
If I look like shit, it's because
of people like you pissing me off."

"Hey, no need to get snippy.
I was just concerned because
you look like you could use some shut eye."

"I could use some shut up."

"I really don't know why I bother talking to you."
