Nitrates

I am starting this entry with no poem written and no idea what it will be about... I sorta like doing em this way. Now, let's see how this ends up.

NITRATES

Tired and failing
the ship loses power
and tumbles
back to earth.

The crew angry and
scared for their lives,
they spiral
towards their end.

I saw that
on a show once.
Perhaps more than once.

Unless it's in a movie
or an Abrams production,
you can always be sure
that your heroes
will come out alive.

That's apparently not
the case with real life.
In reality,
I'm sure someone
would have pissed themselves...

...and then died.
