Independence Day

I wrote this one in a bit of a hurry.  Been on vacation.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

The worst effect
I have ever seen
in a movie
is on Independence Day.

I've seen some
really bad effects
in my day,
but nothing
quite as bad
as the dog
jumping
into a doorway
as the fireball
blasts behind him.

I think they put that in
at the last minute.

Test audiences
don't like it
when dogs get
blown up.
