Seems Like Old Times

A quick poem about a movie I grew up with and am watching now.

SEEMS LIKE OLD TIMES

Goldie Hawn and
Charles Grodin just
drove off the road
after almost hitting a cow
in the rain.

Earlier, Chevy Chase
was on trial for
bank robbery,
and a pack of barking dogs
came running into
the court room,
the largest dog sitting
on the judge's lap.

They just don't make
movies like this anymore.
What a shame.
